For Organizers / Race Setup Updated 16 Oct 2026

Media & Branding

Set your race's accent color, tagline and hero look, upload a banner and up to 10 extra images, and turn on finisher photos.

Overview

The Media & Branding page controls how your public race page looks — its accent color and tagline, the hero layout, a race logo, the banner and extra images — plus finisher photos for athletes. A strong banner and gallery make a big difference to how your race looks to potential participants.

Location: Race Management → Setup → Media & branding

Image and logo uploads save as soon as you upload them. All other changes on this page are saved with Save changes — if you try to leave with unsaved changes, you're asked whether to save or discard them.

Race identity

By default every race uses your organization's accent color and tagline. Turn off Use organization brand to give this race its own:

  • Accent color — pick a swatch or enter a custom hex code. Colors too dark to read on the dark background are rejected.
  • Tagline — up to 120 characters, shown under the race title on the public page.

Race look

These settings belong only to this race:

  • Hero layout — Classic, Centered, or Split
  • Pattern — Stripes, Bars, or None
  • Overlay — Light, Medium, Strong, or None
  • Race logo — SVG, PNG or WebP, max 2 MB. Saves immediately on upload.
  • Hero title — show the race name as text, as text together with the race logo, or as the race logo alone (requires an uploaded race logo).

Organizer on race page — switches for showing your organizer logo and name in the hero (and whether the name links to your organizer page), an organizer strip under the hero, and a "More races by this organizer" list (up to 3 other listed upcoming races) in the Organizer card.

Banner image

The banner is the large hero image at the top of your public race page.

  • Formats: JPG, PNG or WebP
  • Max size: 5 MB
  • Recommended size: 16:9, 1920×1080 (min 1600×900)
  • Quantity: One banner per race

Upload a new image by clicking the upload area or dragging a file onto it. The image saves immediately — no separate save button needed. Click the image to set the focus point every crop is built around (Reset to center undoes it). Use Replace to swap the image or Remove to delete it.

If you don't upload a banner, your organization's cover image is used instead.

Tips:

  • Landscape orientation works best (wider than tall)
  • Use a photo from a previous race or your venue for authenticity

Additional images

Additional images appear in the Media section of your public race page — great for showing the race atmosphere and venue.

  • Formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG
  • Max size: 4 MB per image
  • Quantity: Up to 10 images

Upload images one at a time. Each image saves immediately on upload. To remove an image, hover over its thumbnail, click the delete icon and confirm.

Finisher photos

Finisher photos let athletes make a shareable photo with their finish time on their own phone — nothing is uploaded.

  • Availability — Off, Race day only (opens 00:00 on race day, closes 23:59), or Race day + after (stays open for 1, 3, 7 or 30 days after the last race day, set under Keep open after race day). The page shows the resulting window.
  • Photo page & arena QR — copy the photo page link (roxrace.com/r/your-race/photo), download a QR poster (PDF), or open an Arena screen version for a big screen at the venue.

Outside the window the link stays valid but shows "Finisher photos are closed" and points to the results, so printed QR codes never break.

This page is for one race's own look. For your logo, cover image, accent color, and organizer page shared across every race, see Organization Branding.
